    Managing Keys in KeyWhere

    This article explains how to effectively manage keys within KeyWhere.

    The processes in this article include:

    • Adding a Key
    • Deleting a Key

    Adding a Key

    This process will run through how to add a new key to a property.

    1. Click on Properties.
    2. Search for and select the property from the Search field, Address or Suburb columns.
    3. Navigate to Keys and click on New Key.
    4. Enter a Key Prefix as required.
    5. KeyWhere will automatically assign the first available key number. This assignment can be modified if necessary.
    6. Select the Key Type, Description, and upload an Image if desired.
    7. Click on Create.
    8. After the key has been assigned to the property, it must be linked to the physical key panel (where in use) to ensure correct operation.

    Deleting a Key Set

    *Note: If you have panels installed an perform this process, it will untag and tagged keys.

    This process will run through how to delete a key set.

    1. Click on Keys.
    2. Click ****on Keys.
    3. Select the Keys or Address header.
    4. Search for and select the required property.
    5. Select the 3-Dots then the Bin Icon (Delete).
    6. Add a reason for deleting a key.
    7. Click on Delete.
