Rent Deductions

This article will show you how to add, edit and remove deductions in Reapit PM.

Note: You can add deductions to a Tenant Agreement when offering free or discounted rent to a tenant. The deduction will adjust the ‘Paid to’ position accordingly.

The process in this article include:

• Creating a Deduction
• Editing a Deduction
• Removing a Deduction

Creating a Deduction

1. Navigate to People > Tenants.
2. Search or select your tenant.
3. Under the Deductions section click Add Deduction.

1. Enter the deduction amount, description and click Add Deduction.

Note: Deductions are applied as a dollar figure only and take effect immediately.

1. Your deduction will be applied and will show in the deductions section.

Editing a Deduction

1. From the Deductions section, click Edit.

1. Edit the required information and click Edit Deduction.

1. Your deduction will be updated, including paid to dates and part payments.

Removing a Deduction

1. From the deductions section, click Remove.

1. Click Delete to confirm.

1. Your deduction will be removed from the deductions section.

1. Your Paid to dates will reflect accordingly.
