Console Pay - Paid to Date +1

This article will take you through the Console Pay – Paid to Date +1 feature for tenancy rent and invoice payments.

The process in this article include:

    • Console Pay - Paid to Date +1

New and existing tenants paying rent and invoices through Console Pay can use the Paid to Date +1 feature for recurring invoices from the tenancy agreement. After setting up Console Pay, the invoice scheduler will look at the invoice creation date and set the direct debit date to take place after the current paid to date on the tenancy agreement.

Note: If the tenancy currently has outstanding rent or invoice arrears, it’s recommended to clear this before enabling the Paid to Date+1 feature. This will help ensure a smoother setup and avoid potential date issues.

Invoice creation requires the below calendar day notice to ensure that the scheduler will automatically prepopulate the required debit date for recurring invoices and rent to Paid to Date + 1:

Monthly Rent / Invoices: 16 or More days prior to due date

Fortnightly Rent / Invoices: 8 days prior to due date

Weekly Rent / Invoices: 4 days prior to due date

It is essential that all direct debit changes are made in the morning prior to the 1pm AEST cutoff for direct debits and consider 3 business days of clearance.

Below is a comprehensive list of Paid to Date+1 scenarios to help you set up tenancies correctly and efficiently.

Console Pay Scenario - New Tenancy Agreement

Console Pay Scenario - Tenancies with Recurring Invoices

Console Pay Scenario - Existing Tenancies without Recurring Invoices
