Merge Duplicate Contacts

This article runs through how to merge duplicate contacts in Reapit Sales.

Note: Only those with permission to merge duplicates can complete this task.

How do I Merge Duplicate Contacts?

1. Search for your Contact open their Contact Card.

2. Click the Contact Card Tab to edit the contact.
3. Select Merge with Duplicate from the Status drop-down.

4. Select which contact you would like to merge with.
5. Refine Merge Options.
6. Read the Warning Message and Select I Agree & Proceed if happy to proceed to merge the duplicates.

Q: Will the Categories on both contact merge into one?

A: Yes, the categories that are attached to the two contacts will update/merged into the one single contact record.

Q: Will the Tasks for each contact merge?

A: Yes, the tasks that are attached to the two contacts will appear against the one single contact record.

Q: Will the Activity Schedules for each contact merge?

A: Yes, the Activity Schedules that are attached to the two contacts will appear against the one single contact record.
