    Creating a Page

How to create, build and publish a new page on your Reapit Websites site.

    Reapit WebsitesUpdated 2026-02-09

    Overview

Pages hold your site's permanent content — service pages, suburb profiles, landing pages and similar. This article covers:

    • Creating a new page
    • Adding content with blocks
    • Setting the featured image and page attributes
    • Publishing and adding the page to your menu

    Creating a new page

    1. From the admin dashboard, navigate to Pages › Add New.
    2. Enter the page title at the top. The page's web address is generated from the title automatically.
    3. To change the address, select the title, open the Page panel on the right and edit the URL field.

    Adding content with blocks

Pages are built from blocks — paragraphs, headings, images, columns and buttons:

    1. Select the + icon in the editor to open the block library.
    2. Choose a block type, or start typing to add a paragraph straight away.
    3. Use Patterns in the block library to insert pre-designed sections that match your site's styling, such as call-to-action banners and team grids.
    4. Drag the handle on the left of any block to reorder it.

Tip: Type / on an empty line for a quick block search — for example, /image or /columns.

Setting the featured image and page attributes

    1. In the Page panel on the right, select Set featured image and choose an image from the media library or upload a new one.
    2. Under Page Attributes, set a Parent if this page belongs under another (for example, a suburb profile under "Areas We Serve").

Publishing and adding the page to your menu

    1. Select Publish in the top-right corner, then confirm. To schedule instead, select the publish date and choose a future time.
    2. To add the page to your site menu, navigate to Appearance › Editor, open the Navigation section, select + and choose your new page.
    3. Select Save in the editor to push the menu change live.

Note: Publishing a page does not add it to the menu automatically. Landing pages used for campaigns are often left out of the menu deliberately.
