An introduction to the Reapit Websites admin dashboard and where to find the tools you will use most.
Overview
This article introduces the Reapit Websites admin dashboard and explains where to find the tools you will use day to day. It covers:
- Signing in to your website admin
- The dashboard layout
- The left-hand menu
- Previewing your live site
Signing in to your website admin
- Go to your website address followed by /wp-admin (for example,
youragency.com.au/wp-admin). - Enter the username and password from your onboarding email, or use Sign in with Reapit Connect if your office has single sign-on enabled.
- Select Log in. You land on the dashboard.
Tip: Bookmark the admin address. If you forget your password, use Lost your password? on the sign-in screen — resets are self-service.
The dashboard layout
The dashboard is the home screen of your website admin:
- At a glance shows how many pages and posts your site has and the theme version you are running.
- Activity lists recently published and updated content.
- Site health flags anything needing attention, such as pending updates managed by the Reapit Websites team.
The left-hand menu
The left-hand menu is where you will spend most of your time:
- Pages — permanent content such as About Us, your team and suburb profiles.
- Posts — dated content such as market updates and community news.
- Media — your image and document library.
- Appearance › Editor — the Swell editor used for homepage and layout changes.
- Users — manage who in your office can edit the site.
Note: Some menu items are managed by the Reapit Websites team and are read-only, including plugin and theme installation. This keeps your site secure and eligible for support.
Previewing your live site
- Hover over your site name in the top-left corner of the admin bar.
- Select Visit Site to open the live site in the same tab, or middle-click to open a new tab.
- While signed in, you can move between the live site and the admin using the same admin bar.
