    Overview

Reapit Viewings manages the inspection calendar for your rental listings, from scheduling through to attendee check-in. This article covers:

    • Adding an open home
    • Adding a private inspection
    • How registrations work
    • Rescheduling or cancelling an inspection

    Add an open home

    1. Navigate to Viewings and select + New inspection.
    2. Choose the listing the inspection is for.
    3. Select Open home as the inspection type.
    4. Set the date, start time and duration — 15 minutes is the common default for rentals.
    5. Assign the attending agent.
    6. Select Save. The inspection is published to your listing on the portals and your agency website automatically, and appears in the attending agent's calendar.

Tip: Schedule open homes for the same listing at a consistent day and time each week. Enquirers who miss one are automatically offered the next.

    Add a private inspection

    1. From an enquiry on the listing, select Book inspection, or create one from Viewings › + New inspection and choose Private as the type.
    2. Pick an available time — the attending agent's existing commitments are shown to avoid double-booking.
    3. Add the attendee from the enquiry, or enter their name and mobile number.
    4. Select Save and confirm. The attendee receives an SMS and email confirmation with the property address and time.

    How registrations work

    1. Enquirers register for an open home via the link in their enquiry response or portal listing.
    2. Registered attendees appear on the inspection record, and receive an automatic reminder SMS on the morning of the inspection.
    3. At the inspection, open it in the mobile view and check attendees in as they arrive. Walk-ins can be added on the spot.
    4. After the inspection, checked-in attendees automatically receive a follow-up message with a link to apply via 2Apply.

    Reschedule or cancel an inspection

    1. Open the inspection and select Reschedule or Cancel.
    2. For a reschedule, choose the new time — every registered attendee is notified by SMS and email, and their registration carries over.
    3. For a cancellation, attendees are notified and offered the next available inspection for the listing.

Note: If the property becomes leased, cancelling the listing's remaining inspections is offered as part of the leased workflow — you do not need to cancel each one manually.
