    Creating a Proposal

How to create and send your first proposal in Reapit Proposals, from template selection to delivery.

    Reapit ProposalsUpdated 2026-01-14

    Overview

Reapit Proposals builds polished, personalised proposals — pre-listing kits, CMAs and management proposals — in minutes, using data from your CRM. This article covers:

    • Starting a new proposal
    • Selecting a template
    • Personalising the content
    • Sending and tracking the proposal

    Starting a new proposal

    1. Sign in to Reapit Proposals, or open it from the app switcher in your CRM.
    2. Select + New Proposal in the top-right corner.
    3. Search for the property the proposal relates to. If it exists in your CRM, the address, owner contacts and property attributes pre-fill.
    4. Confirm the recipient — the owner or prospective vendor the proposal is addressed to.

    Selecting a template

    1. Choose a template that matches the situation — for example, Sales Proposal for a listing pitch or Property Management Proposal for a new management. See the related article for the full template list.
    2. Select Preview to flick through a template before committing.
    3. Select Use template. The proposal generates with your branding, agent profile and property details already in place.

Note: Templates use your office's branding kit — logo, colours and agent profiles — set up during onboarding. If branding looks wrong, ask your administrator to update the branding kit before sending.

    Personalising the content

    1. Work through the proposal pages in the left-hand panel. Each page can be edited, reordered or hidden.
    2. Update the cover letter — a personal opening paragraph referencing your conversation with the owner lifts response rates noticeably.
    3. Review the comparable sales the proposal has selected, and swap any that don't support your pricing narrative.
    4. Check the fees page and adjust any negotiated rates from the office defaults.

    Sending and tracking the proposal

    1. Select Preview to review the finished proposal exactly as the recipient will see it.
    2. Select Send, confirm the recipient's email address, and add a short email message.
    3. The recipient receives a link to an interactive online proposal. You are notified when it is opened, and the Activity tab shows which pages they viewed and for how long.

Tip: The open notification is your cue to call. Owners reviewing a proposal in the evening are often ready to talk the next morning.
