Editing Your Campaign Calendar
How to edit the campaign calendar page in a proposal, including key dates, milestones and auction timelines.
Overview
The campaign calendar page shows the vendor a week-by-week plan for their campaign — photography, launch, open homes, and auction or closing dates. This article covers:
- Opening the campaign calendar
- Setting the campaign start date and method of sale
- Editing milestones
- Saving a calendar as an office default
Opening the campaign calendar
- Open the proposal and select the Campaign Calendar page from the left-hand page panel.
- The calendar generates from your office's default campaign plan, anchored to a placeholder start date.
Setting the campaign start date and method of sale
- Select Campaign settings at the top of the calendar page.
- Set the launch date — every milestone shifts automatically to keep its offset from launch.
- Choose the method of sale: Auction, Private Treaty or Expressions of Interest. The milestone set updates to match — for example, an auction date and cooling-off milestones appear only for the relevant method.
Tip: If the vendor hasn't committed to a date, pick a realistic Monday two to three weeks out. A concrete calendar is more persuasive than "TBC", and dates shift automatically if the launch moves.
Editing milestones
- Select any milestone to edit its name, date or description.
- Select + Add milestone to insert extra events, such as a twilight open home or a marketing review call.
- Drag milestones to reorder them, or select the bin icon to remove ones that don't apply.
- Weekend milestones such as open homes snap to the nearest Saturday by default; drag them to a different day if needed.
Saving a calendar as an office default
Administrators can save a tuned calendar for the whole office to reuse:
- With the calendar open, select Save as default.
- Name the plan (for example, "4-week auction campaign") and choose the method of sale it applies to.
- Select Save. New proposals using that method of sale start from this plan, with milestone offsets preserved.
Note: Saving a default does not change calendars in existing proposals — only proposals created after the change use the new plan.
