Reapit Connect FAQs
Answers to common questions about signing in, passwords and account access with Reapit Connect.
Overview
This article answers the most common questions about Reapit Connect sign-in and accounts. For MFA-specific questions, see the multi-factor authentication FAQ in the related articles.
I've forgotten my password. How do I reset it?
Select Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and enter your email address. A reset link is emailed to you and is valid for one hour. If the email doesn't arrive, check your junk folder, then confirm with your administrator that the address on your account is correct.
My activation link has expired. What now?
Activation links are valid for 7 days. Ask your office administrator to resend the invitation from user management — a fresh link is emailed immediately.
Why am I asked to sign in again during the day?
Sessions last several hours and refresh while you work, but you'll be asked to sign in again after an extended idle period, when your password changes, or when your administrator updates your access. Frequent unexpected prompts usually mean your browser is blocking cookies for the sign-in domain.
Can I use the same account at two offices?
Yes, if both offices are part of the same Reapit customer group and your administrator has granted you access to both. You'll be asked to choose an office after signing in. Accounts cannot be shared across unrelated agencies — each business issues its own accounts.
Can two staff members share one login?
No. Sharing logins breaches your agreement, breaks audit trails on trust accounting and forms, and causes MFA lockouts when the phone with the authenticator isn't available. Accounts are per person; ask your administrator to create one for each staff member.
My email address is changing. Do I need a new account?
No — your administrator can update the email address on your existing account, which keeps your history and access intact. Sign in with the new address afterwards; your password is unchanged.
What happens to my account when I leave an agency?
Your administrator deactivates it. Your work history remains in each product for audit purposes, but the account can no longer sign in. If you move to another Reapit-using agency, that agency creates a new account for you.
Tip: Most sign-in problems are solved by resetting your password and clearing cached credentials in your browser. If problems continue, your administrator can see your account status in user management.
